Disability Awareness Information & Resources

Disability Awareness, Visibility & Education

At Together We Fight Apparel, we believe every person deserves to be seen, respected, and included. Disability is not one story or one experience. It can be visible or invisible, lifelong or acquired, physical, intellectual, developmental, neurological, sensory, genetic, chronic, or related to mental health.

Our mission is to help make more conditions visible through awareness apparel and accessible information. We aim to represent both widely recognized disabilities and rare conditions that are too often overlooked.

Respectful awareness matters

People use different language to describe their own experiences. We encourage listening to individuals and communities, using respectful terminology, and recognizing that no two people experience the same condition in exactly the same way. Awareness information is educational and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

Our commitment to broader visibility

We want this directory to keep growing to include rare diseases, underrepresented disabilities, mental health conditions, and the experiences of disabled people and caregivers. If you notice a condition missing or have a resource you believe should be considered, please contact us.
